Our Story
We met a long time ago at Coker College in Hartsville, South Carolina where we both attended undergrad. We've always known of each other but never really hung out much or more/less spoke, given the high level of Conrad's shyness! So we were out one night and Cara made the first move with the best pick up line ever....and Conrad agreed (I think he was overwhelmed with shock from day one!). We've been together ever since (with one minor bump). College came to an end for Cara and she moved off to Tennessee for grad school. It was hard, but they made it through! Conrad was busy with baseball and Cara was busy with studying so the time constraints worked everything out. Seeing each other 4-5 times a year wasn't so bad. We definitely got to make our own lives and find ourselves which is probably the best thing that could have ever happened to us. After 4 1/2 years, Conrad finally popped the question! Cara was performing a clinical in Atlanta, GA and only had 2 more days before she must leave to go to another clinical in Texas! A romantic proposal led to the final yes, however there was no question in either one of their minds. Now they'll live happily ever after..... So to make the difficult decision of where to have the wedding...there wasn't a clear choice given each is from their own state! So a day at the beach seemed like the perfect option! A beautiful place to set the mood as we both say "I do".
